The Independent Artist
My video of Paint Me a Picture was posted just over 2 weeks ago, and it has me thinking. Always a good thing. The path of an independent artist is not one traveled alone. More and more I am feeling the web of support that is made up of you: fans, friends, family. It is that support that keeps me playing music, and the constant drive to explore the unexplored and share the findings of that journey. After all, it would be awfully selfish to keep that to myself. How does posting a video connect to this post? Well as you might have guessed, I didn't record, shoot and edit the video alone. It took the help of others, who are independent artists as well. An actor, writer, and film maker. A big thanks to them and a continued thanks to all of you.
